DIANE DAVY   Executive Director

As the Executive Director of WorkInCulture, Diane Davy brings to the role over 25 years of senior level expertise in the arts and culture sector. In her consulting practice she specializes in the business-side of the creative community, working with both for-profit and non-profit enterprises. Her areas of focus include strategic business planning, organizational structure and management, marketing strategies, revenue generation, board governance, policy development and other related topics. She has hands-on experience in developing and delivering skills training and is a firm believer in the importance of lifelong learning for all.




KAREN ENNIS   General Manager

Karen Ennis has been with WorkInCulture almost since its inception. She is an experienced arts administrator who has worked in the cultural sector since 1983, at The National Ballet of Canada as Personnel Officer and at The Canadian Opera Company as Human Resources Manager. She has consulted in the areas of pay equity and compensation and benefits. At WorkInCulture she wears many hats but her particular areas of expertise are financial management and program management. She is responsible for the organization’s youth employment programs and is very proud of this work which has assisted many young people in establishing careers in arts administration, fundraising and marketing.




STEPHANIE DRAKER   Program Manager

Stephanie Draker is a cultural professional with extensive experience creating and delivering engaging projects and community programming initiatives designed to increase accessibility to a wide range of creative resources and opportunities. Over the last ten years Stephanie has worked with several prominent Canadian cultural institutions, spanning multiple disciplines within the Art, Culture, and Heritage sectors. Based in Toronto, Stephanie is an active member of the local arts community – having exhibited as a visual and craft artist and having served on the boards and committees of multiple community arts-based organizations.




MONA AFSHARI   Marketing & Communications Manager

Mona Afshari is an artist, art administrator, art educator, marketing professional and passionate supporter of Canadian arts and culture. Over the last ten years, Mona has worked for art organizations in Ontario, Qu├ębec, and the Northwest Territories, developing and implementing business and marketing plans, as well as educational programs for diverse audiences.  With a Bachelor’s in Visual Arts, a Master’s in Art Education, and Graduate Diploma in Management, Mona is determined to bridge the gap between the arts and business through her marketing efforts. 



YOMI JOHN Marketing & Programming Assistant

Yomi has a communications background and previous experience working with several well-known arts institutions, including the Toronto International Film Festival and ReelWorld Film Festival. She has also worked within private and government institutions such as Walt Disney Studios Canada and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. Yomi is highly skilled and has considerable strength in the areas of implementing marketing, communication, and outreach strategies for the non-profit arts community.
