Harbourfront Centre, on Toronto's waterfront, is an innovative non-profit cultural organization which creates, for a diverse public, events and activities of excellence that enliven, educate and entertain.   Currently, exciting seasonal employment opportunities exist in Harbourfront Centre March Break Camps, one of Toronto's largest, most diverse and creative day camps.

  • Plan, administer, co-ordinate, and supervise camp activities
  • Train and supervise staff of 2-12 camp counsellors
  • Plan and run camp specific meetings
  • Administrative duties such as daily attendance, evaluations, incident/accident reports, etc
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Other duties as required



  • Enrolled in or completed a post secondary degree as related to the position
  • Previous camp programming experience
  • Strong programming, leadership and organizational skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and responsible
  • Enjoy working with children
  • Certified First Aid and CPR
  • Police Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening required

DURATION:   Training:  Feb 24, March 3,10.  March Break: March 12 to March 16, 2018 (plus pre-camp training)
HOURS:  Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
WAGE:   $600 - $640 per week
INTERVIEWS:  Will be held the end of January/beginning of February
