TSA Winter 2019 Courses Announced!

TORONTO SCHOOL OF ART fosters the inherent capabilities of its students through an education model that revolves around artists teaching artists to help them make their mark. TSA is the city's longest-running independent art school. Enrol in a

NEW Time slots for Evening and Saturday Courses
  • Saturday course times have been slightly adjusted to: 9:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-4:30pm.
  • Evening courses will now have two major time frames: 6pm-9pm and 6:30pm-9:30pm.

NEW Home: 24 Ryerson Avenue
TSA's Winter 2019 term will be held in our NEW home at 24 Ryerson Avenue. This marks the first permanent home of TSA and falls onto the year of our 50th anniversary as Toronto's longest running independent art school!

About TSA’s new home: 24 Ryerson Avenue
Built in the early 1900’s this historic factory building has always been an industrious site of creativity and community. This buildings' rich history includes incarnations as studio space for many prominent artists, writers, poets and designers. It has even been an art gallery co-op in the 1970-80’s and most recently office spaces for a range of businesses.

Improving Access in the Arts
TSA is thrilled to re-purpose the building as a barrier-free venue for studio-based arts education to contribute to the vibrant Queen West are. Along with general interior renovations the building will have physical accessibility features including an entrance ramp, automatic doors at the entrance, accessible washrooms and accessible parking.

24 Ryerson Avenue, Toronto (One block North of Queen & one block East of Bathurst)

From Osgoode Station: Take the 501 Queen Streetcar West to Bathurst Street. Walk back east on Queen Street to Ryerson Avenue. Walk North on Ryerson Avenue, the building is on the left (next to Theatre Passe Muraille).

From Bathurst Station: Take the 511 Bathurst Streetcar South to Queen Street. Walk East on Queen Street to Ryerson Avenue. Walk North on Ryerson Avenue, the building is on the left (next to Theatre Passe Muraille).

Onsite and street parking is limited in the area. Advisable alternatives:
