Job Description

The Account Coordinator is responsible for coordinating projects of varying size and complexity. This role is responsible for organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of Managing Director West and in collaboration with Associate Vice President of OKD West. 

The ideal candidate must be web and digital-savvy and have strong project management, communications and customer service skills. 

You must work well under pressure, balancing competing priorities in an entrepreneurial, results-oriented work environment.

The candidate will need to have a diverse set of abilities in the areas of communications, web and digital.

 

Requirements:

Account Coordination

  • Prepare project schedules (using Basecamp) and take meeting notes

  • Create Dockets and coordinate with vendors, designers, developers and other team members

  • Monitor, evaluate, document and coordinate project activity

  • Proofread materials at all stages of project

  • Respond and deliver client and internal requests in a service oriented manner

  • Recognizes financial terminology and understands what can have an impact on a project budget

  • Collects and files communication materials 
  • ​Provides other administrative support to account team


​Digital and Website 

  • General understanding of SEO, analytics and other digital reporting programs 

  • General knowledge of Google AdWords / Bing Ads and other online ad management platforms

  • General understanding of website tagging (H-1, Title, Meta Descriptions, Alt Image)

  • Basic knowledgeWordpress to the extent of being able to update content, and communicate effectively with programmers and designers 

  • Experience in programming is considered an asset.


​Qualifications and Experience

  • A post-secondary degree in marketing, advertising or related

  • Knowledge of integrated campaign tactics including: social media, digital and online

  • Strong desire to be in the communications industry and use new an innovative digital tools

  • A “can do” attitude and entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on problem solving and solution finding

  • Works well under pressure and deadlines

  • Is logical, work-oriented, and analytical
