Walter Alza Acting Studio  has been crafting Actors for over a decade now. Our goal: to help actors become Crafted and to book more gigs. Our award-winning faculty has over 50 years of combined experience on film, television and theatre.

Job Description

We're on the lookout for an ambitious team player that has a passion for film and tv, and is looking to join a dynamic team at one of the fastest growing independent Acting Studios in Canada.  Successful candidates must be reliable and must love films.   Candidate should be motivated, extremely detail oriented, with superior organizational and communication skills.   This position requires the ability to shift priorities quickly in response to changing circumstances, remaining flexible, calm and focused while multi-tasking. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous customer service and sells experience. We provide a friendly, casual environment. Must work well alone and with others.

You will be working approximately 15 hours on weekends. Saturdays 10 to 6pm (off every 5th Saturday & Sunday). Sundays  12 to 530pm.  Or  We also have 15 hours during the week days TBD.  Room to Grow.  This is a sub contract position.



Requirements:

Must have a vast knowledge of movies and or scripts.  Previous Administration work and Mac knowledge a plus.

Residing in downtown Toronto a huge plus.  Must be able to work well with others and on your own.

TASKS:  
Specific responsibilities will include:
-Searching online for scenes and assigning them to the students
-Putting actors on tape when required
- Answer inquiries from consumers
- Assist with special projects as needed (special promotions, mailings, shopping, etc.)
- Processing Registrations & Payments
-General Studio help, filing, scanning etc 
-Some small web updates and bulletin update
-Open and closing the studios 

Customer Service by phone and in-person at our studio at yonge and bloor
- Data Entry (Excel, Word, ect), -invoicing
- Incoming/Outgoing Phone Calls & Emailing
