Star Performance Academy
We teach dance, music and drama to students ages 2 1/2 to Adult of all levels. We focus on life skills in the class room as they relate to the arts.

Join Waterloo Region’s favourite Dance, Music and Acting studio. Assist in creating a positive atmosphere in the arts for our youth.

Star Performance Academy has been in your community since 2005. Training and mentoring students from 2 years old to 78 years old.

What the job is like:
Enjoy working only select evenings and some Saturdays (no summer weekends!) as you meet families, answer their questions and assist them in finding what classes and programs would help them discover the arts and more! With a fast-paced, friendly environment, feel energized and excited by your shift as you provide our families with information, help to organize family events and take in the arts at Star.

What we are looking for in our Star Staff:

  • Energetic individual who wants to work in a positive, fast paced environment
  • Part time experienced receptionist (Hours to be determined at interview)
  • Proficiency with Google Docs
  • Confident individual who can answer and place phone calls
  • Fluent in English. Ability to speak and type efficiently
  • Vulnerable Sector Check upon successful completion of the interiew process
  • Ability to adapt to new situations in a comfortable environment
  • To be able to explain and promote classes to students/parents
  • Comfortable with answering questions. If answer is not known, able to take notes, find answer and contact client or guest
  • Driven to learn new aspects of the arts world
  • Smiles
