Job Description

The Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Agents and their volume of work; taking phone calls, messages, and help in the streamlining all aspects of the business. The ideal candidate should have professional phone mannerisms and a friendly disposition, as this role will be concentrated on client interaction and require working with a variety of important members within the industry. We encourage those with a strong interest in the entertainment industry and a desire to work alongside actors, writers and directors to apply!
Below are some expected tasks delegated to the Assistant:
  • Emailing clients, assisting with their general inquires and supplying any required material
  • Managing the schedules of Talent: informing them of auditions, callbacks, self-tapes, and noting any shoot dates, book out dates, fittings, ADR, and more.
  • Helping set up meetings for director and writer clients.
  • Helping secure footage to create demo reels, sending out resumes and reels.
  • Managing the filing system: ensuring all contracts, paperwork and important information is secured and stored appropriately
  • Scheduling meetings for Agents and completing any additional tasks set out by the Agents
  • Organizing project material (such as sides, scripts, and more)
  • Drafting client deal memos for bookings
Overall, we are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual, who can take initiative
and works well in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple deadlines. Additionally, the ideal candidate would be self-disciplined, have strong communication skills and be a positive team member with a sense of humour


  • Strong computer skills, with competency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) & Google docs.
  • Past experience with Breakdown Express, Casting Workbook, Casting Networks, basic editing software (iMovie) & inEntertainment preferred, but not required
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Strong client service attitude
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to be a team player, willing to help out when required
  • Flexibility, ability to adapt to change and shifting priorities
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision
