Job Description

The Canadian Opera Company seeks articulate, mature and dynamic COC Call Centre Representatives to join our highly successful front line staff, contacting existing and potential subscribers and donors through the COC Sales and Acquisition office. Representatives work on various programs including subscription sales and annual fundraising projects.

Requirements:

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Candidates must be able to commit to this 20 hour per week schedule.

Duties include:
  • Making out-bound telephone calls
  • Successfully soliciting subscriptions and charitable gifts for the COC
  • Expanding your knowledge of art through opera

This is not a position in which one ought to be satisfied making only the $14 minimum wage. Due to the lucrative potential and nature of the COC wage grid, sales/fundraising experience is necessary. Also, knowledge of opera and/or art in general is a major asset for this position.
