Fredericton Playhouse Inc.
Located in beautiful downtown Fredericton, the Fredericton Playhouse has been providing a professional venue for the performing arts for decades.Today, the Playhouse operates as a 709-seat professional performance venue available for local, national, and international artists and companies. It also presents touring artists as part of its own professional series and offers a comprehensive education and outreach program. It has been the recipient of numerous awards and distinctions from the Canadian Arts Presenting Association, the East Coast Music Awards, and the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce.

Job Description

Fredericton Playhouse Inc., a charitable non-profit organization which manages and develops a 709-seat performance venue, has an exciting opportunity for a Development Director to join our team.
 
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Development Director is responsible for the management and development of the organization’s grant portfolio, donor program, sponsorship portfolio, and special fundraising events and campaigns.
 
We offer a competitive salary based on experience and training. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, the starting salary range for this position is $50,032 to $65,043 annually.

Requirements:

The successful candidate has a track record of corporate, government and/or private fundraising management. They possess both a post-secondary education in a relevant field of study and professional experience in fund development or non-profit administration.
 
They have strong networking and relationship building skills and proven success in building community partnerships. They can demonstrate superior writing, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills and can also demonstrate competencies in research, proposal writing, use of office technology, and collaboration. They will also have a strong appreciation of the public value of the performing arts.
