Job Description

Based in Toronto, we are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager for our marketing department. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Sponsorships, you will be responsible for managing our key digital channels, primarily focused on web development, SEO and analytics. You will also be involved in supporting our traditional marketing team’s brand campaigns, content development, digital advertising, as well as advising colleagues and internal stakeholders on digital best practices and integration. This role will also oversee the development and launch of multiple websites yearly, along with managing a portfolio of live domains.

A lover of commercial theatre and the arts, you understand what it takes to build audiences, put bums in seats and are driven to maximize revenue. If you eat, breathe and sleep digital marketing and come bouncing into the office with new ideas—big and small – we’d love to hear from you.

Your key responsibilities:
  • In addition to managing our key digital channels, you will also be involved in supporting our traditional marketing team's brand campaigns, content development, digital advertising, as well as advising colleagues and internal stakeholders on digital best practices and integration.

  • You will be the key digital contact and manage outside digital marketing teams located in multiple theatre venues across North America.

  • A typical day can include building web pages, liaising with agencies, managing the optimization of digital campaigns, advising marketing colleagues and reporting on the effectiveness of their campaigns, using a range of online tools to monitor progress and achieve great results.
  • As a member of the marketing and communications team, you will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Sponsorship, contributing to the planning, budgeting, and execution of marketing and brand campaigns and go-to-market campaigns.  You will be essential at all stages of development, implementation, and measurement of digital marketing. This role will have a specific focus on rolling out and tailoring digital campaigns in Canada and the USA.
  • You will need to be well-organized, a clear communicator, creative and be comfortable using data to drive your decisions. You will also have the business acumen to recognize and identify areas where opportunities may exist.

Requirements:
