Job Description

ARTSPACE Artist Run Center is inviting applications for the 3-month contract position of Fundraising Coordinator.

Position:
 $22/hr Part-time, 20 hours/week, 12 week contract

Reporting to the Interim Director the Fundraising Coordinator will: 

  • Carry out market research and analysis about our community and develop strategies and best practices for future fundraising campaigns
  • Work alongside Staff and the Board of Directors to create a fundraising plan that reflects the mandate of the organization. 
  • Advise on all fundraising activities of the organization including sponsorship, donation, events and drives.
  • Advise on the development of fundraising publicity, marketing materials, and strategies
  • Attend Board meetings and report on fundraising developments 
  • Be flexible and available on some evenings and weekends for openings, meetings, and other events when hearing from our Fundraiser would be strategically beneficial


Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Fundraising, Marketing, or related field
  • Digital marketing experience, minimum 1-2 years
  • Event planning background considered an asset
  • The ability to successfully develop and implement fundraising, marketing and communications strategies
  • A background in the not-for-profit, culture-related sector
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, and proficiency with general office/design software
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to strategize short and long term goals and develop an innovative vision
  • Proven track record of seeing projects through to successful completion
