Job Description

Based in Toronto, we are seeking a coordinator for our marketing department. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Sponsorships, you will coordinate our marketing strategies and tactics across multiple markets. Our marketing activities are mostly consumer-focused although we have some limited business to business goals. 

A lover of commercial theatre and the arts, you understand what it takes to put bums in seats and are driven to maximize revenue. You eat, breathe and sleep marketing and come bouncing into the office with new ideas—big and small. 
The Marketing Coordinator will:
  • Coordinate the creation, execution, and maintenance of marketing plans for a range of shows/products
  • Traffic ads
  • Maintain campaign budgets
  • Maintain internal documents
  • Generate detailed reports (e.g., on-sale, marketing, promotions)
  • Coordinate current marketing cross promotions and partnerships while developing, pitching and securing new ones 
  • Coordinate and support sponsorships 
  • Coordinate collateral and marketing tactics for industry conferences 
  • Attend marketing meetings, record detailed minutes, drive follow-up
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Program or College Diploma in Marketing or Business is preferred.
  • 1-3+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience working on a team with many fast moving parts
  • Moderate knowledge of budgeting and business planning
  • Planning and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Strong project management, time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage own workload while multi-tasking to meet deadlines in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to manage and operate comfortably at a tactical level
  • Highly energetic team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the Marketing team
  • Highly collaborative team player
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
  • Interest in/knowledge of theatre/performing arts
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Bilingualism (English and Spanish) is an asset
