We are seeking service-oriented, and upbeat individuals that enjoy working with kids and families, and would take pride in being a part of our award-winning brand. As our current manager is moving to part-time, we are looking for that special someone who has an articulate, enthusiastic and caring personality to inspire and motivate our team.

  • Starting wage is $25.00 per hour
  • (Amended April 29th) Schedule is full-time 40 hours per week: Tues-Sat 9am-5pm. Occasional evenings or weekends as/if needed during company events or staff holidays.

Job Duties

  • This role is an often fast-paced, customer service based role assisting current students both over the phone, and in person with their music lessons, registering new students, and doing follow up phone calls, all guided by organized processes and scripts.
  • Other tasks involve database entry, cleaning, communicating with teachers, staff and interacting with customers.
  • Answering phones
  • An ability to sell themselves as well as our services. Looking for someone with a great personality that is a people person. Selling our school on the phone to potential clients is one of the most important parts of this position.
  • Registering clients
  • Processing paperwork
  • Cleaning
  • Communicating with teachers, staff and clients.
  • Selling minimal retail / supplies at the desk.
  • Interacting with customers
  • Giving customer support to our licensees.
  • Ability to do basic math tasks such as assisting with payment audits and assisting with QuickBooks, etc.


Requirements:

Ideal Skills & Experience

  • We are looking for that special someone who has an articulate, enthusiastic and caring personality.
  • This position is ideal for anyone with a fast-paced customer service background such as Starbucks, a veterinarian assistant, or a high-end restaurant.
  • This is a front desk position, and we provide lots of training and ongoing support.
  • You do not need to know anything about music or be able to play an instrument.
  • You should also feel comfortable multi-tasking, keeping up with lots of details, managing a fast-paced environment, and working independently/alone.
  • You should have a great phone demeanour. As we communicate with our students often by phone, we're looking for that GOLDEN VOICE, that sounds amazing on the phone with a great tone and excitement for our customers. If anyone has told you that your voice should be on the radio, we're looking for you!
  • Because of our volume of email and other computer-based communications, you should have a typing speed of at least 50-70 wpm or higher.
