Job Description

Reporting to the Production Services Manager, the Scheduler will schedule unionized staff in accordance with event and tenant requirements for live event production services.
Major Responsibilities
  • Prepare daily schedules for production services for events across the grounds including tenanted premises in accordance with requests and event requirements
  • Verify employees are scheduled in compliance with the obligations under collective agreement and with an aim to provide efficiencies in service delivery
  • Contact IATSE Local 58 union office to provide schedule and/or availability updates for employees
  • Liaise with IATSE Local 58 union office to update and revise IATSE employee records for certification and training
  • Verify task assigned to employee matches employee’s ability and credentials
  • Post-production, verify task scheduled matched actual work assignment completed by employee
  • Prepare reports as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  1. Progressive experience in performing clerical duties.
  2. Experience in a unionized environment specifically related to live event industry or related field.
  3. Experience utilizing software packages (word processing, spreadsheets and electronic mail).
  4. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  5. Proven customer service skills.
  6. Ability to work days, evenings and weekends including holidays, as required to support operational requirements.
