Job Description

Solotech employs 1,200 professionals in its offices located in Montreal, Quebec City, Saguenay, Ottawa, Toronto, Las Vegas, Nashville, DeKalb, Los Angeles, Heywood, London and Redditch.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Department Supervisor, the clerk will load and unload the equipment inside or from the transport vehicles.

º Load and unload the transport vehicles;
º Prepare courier shipments via FedEx, Purolator, etc.;
º Base knowledge of customs docs required for shipping parcels outside of Canada;
º General warehouse tasks such as maintenance, cleaning, painting, etc.;
º May be asked to support the different workshop's departments;
º Scanning in and out equipment, using our inventory software.



Requirements:

Academic training: High school diploma.

Experience: Between 1 to 2 years experience working in a warehouse, workshop or plant.

Required Skills:

º Knowledge of the audiovisual equipment (an asset);
º Excellent physical condition;
º Valid forklift permit (an asset);
º Show flexibility in the working schedule;
º Basic English proficiency, oral and written;
º Strong sense of organization and precision;
º Positive attitude;
º Autonomous;
º Team-work oriented and spirit of cooperation;
º Ability to work under pressure and capacity to adapt to change;
º Strong attention to detail;
º Basic computer skills.
