Reporting directly to the Department Supervisor, the Technician must prepare rented equipment and ensure they are placed back into inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check equipment list to be prepared during the day of his section;
  • Determine priorities for each technician in his section;
  • Jointly with the Supervisor, coordinate the orders’ preparation according to priorities;
  • Prepare complex orders, scan them and put them inside the transport case;
  • Ensure all equipment sent on site is in good condition;
  • Ensure his section is in order and clean;
  • Reports the breakage and missing components to the Supervisor;
  • Perform follow up on his inventories, kits, wiring assembly ‘bundles’, etc.;
  • Answer to all technicians’, coordinators and road technicians’ questions and issues;
  • Clean and conduct a visual inspection of the equipment;
  • Upgrade the items (ex.: paint, cleaning, etc.);
  • Follow the quality and preparation standards of the company and/or industry;
  • All other related tasks.


  • 2+ years plus of experience in this field. Strong knowledge of the rental industry in the show business, entertainment and corporate environment;
  • Strong aptitude for developing and implementing processes and procedures;
  • Capacity to anticipate problems and to find solutions by respecting the operational processes and policies of the company;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to communicate information in a logical and clear way;
  • Autonomy and sense of responsibility;
  • Teamwork oriented and has a collaborative spirit;
  • Good ability to prioritize within tight deadlines;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to adapt to change;
  • Experience in a rental equipment company;
  • Knowledge of the R2 inventory software (an asset);
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office softwares (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Forklift truck driver’s license (an asset);
  • Master French, oral and written (an asset);
  • Master English, oral and written.
