The Canadian Academy is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Digital Communications with a background in social media, design, website management, and with high attention to detail. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing & Communications, the Senior Coordinator will work closely with the Academy’s Communications team and will be primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of social media accounts and providing support in the creation of promotional materials, research, and web support.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the creation of promotional materials (Academy newsletters, Membership Monthly, eBlasts, web content, digital signage, print materials)
  • Execution and deployment of marketing and social media strategies across all brands
  • Compiling social media statistics and web analytics
  • Assist in the coordination of paid media on Google & Meta, UTM codes/tracking
  • Ideation and deployment of editorial and promotional content on our brands’ social media accounts and act as the team lead on community
  • Providing social media coverage at events for the Academy, Prism Prize, and the MVP Project
  • Performing support on regular website updates, maintenance, and support of
  • Supporting various Canadian Screen Awards-related projects
