Description

Summary

As the Assistant Group Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving group ticket sales for our Broadway shows in markets across Canada. This position will work closely and under the guidance of the National Director of Sales and Marketing to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain group clients, including corporate groups, travel agencies, tour operators, schools, social groups, and other organizations. The role’s primary objective is to maximize group sales revenue while providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist the Group Sales Manager in developing and executing group sales initiatives, including promotional campaigns, sales events, and special offers. Research, identify and cultivate relationships with potential group clients, including corporations, organizations, schools, and travel agencies. Collaborate with marketing team to create targeted group sales materials and collateral. Manage group sales inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, providing information, pricing, and assistance as needed. Coordinate and process group ticket reservations, seating assignments, and special accommodations using Archtics and other ticketing platforms. Prepare and maintain accurate reporting of group sales transactions, contracts, and correspondence. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and analysis to management. Attending industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to promote group sales opportunities and build industry relationships. Provide outstanding customer service to group clients throughout the sales process, including pre-show planning and on-site assistance during performances. Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned by the Group Sales Manager or senior management.
