Description
Canadian Artists Network [CAN] is committed to ensuring that senior professional artists live in an inclusive world where they can continue to pursue their careers and serve as role models for the next generation.
Funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Program, this position will provide nine weeks of employment at 32 hours per week from June 16th to August 15th, 2025 at an hourly rate of $17.20. The successful candidate will support the activities of the organization, working on a number of tasks, including: grant-writing and research, following up with participants in the organization’s mentoring program; assisting with social media and website functions, updating organizational files, assisting the Executive Director in the administration of the organization’s activities and projects, and providing backfill for vacation. The successful candidate will work remotely and must have a computer with internet connection.

Qualifications and Experience
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Ongoing post-secondary study or recent degree in arts administration/management. Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and up to 30 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Strong grant-writing skills.
