TECHNICAL COORDINATOR
$20.00 per hour
32 hours, 4 days per week
Projected start date is Monday, February 2, 2026

One year renewable contract, with a six-month probationary period.
This position is full-time on site.
Health benefits start after probation.

December 15, 2025—The Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT) is a non-profit artist-run centre that provides affordable access to education, production equipment and post-production facilities. LIFT offers over 150 workshops and courses a year covering all elements of contemporary cinema production. LIFT provides information and networking resources to filmmakers and has several screenings, artist talks, and social events held throughout the year. http://www.lift.ca

LIFT requires a highly organized film and digital technician to join the LIFT staff and to work in cooperation with members and the Board of Directors. The new Technical Coordinator will work directly with our current Technical team on all aspects supporting members access to and understanding of our resources, including LIFT’s equipment maintenance, rentals and supply sales. Experience in digital production, post-production and sound for film is a strong asset. All LIFT staff report to the Executive Director.
