- Awareness of workflow and time management.
- Collaborate with management to curate and sustain an evolving schedule.
- Maintenance of the paint department and tools.
- Quality control of all items and projects that require paint treatment.
- Order appropriate paint products required for each project.

$28.00 — $38.00 per hour

Skills
- Advanced experience with scenic art treatments/techniques on a variety of surfaces. (faux woodgrain, concrete, stone, rust etc.)
- Advanced commercial painting techniques using HPLV Spray & Airless Spray Equipment.
- Advanced staining and finishing experience.
- Familiarity with a wide variety of materials, products and processes.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Liaise with clients and designers when necessary.
- Requirements – PPE (CSA boots, hearing protection, eye protection, respirator). – Advanced personal toolkit. – W.A.H. (Working at Heights) certification. – Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License – Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Company Description (there is no other place to put this information) McWood Studios is a full-service design and fabrication shop in Toronto. We consult, design, build and install unique projects locally and internationally. We create one-of-a-kind brand activations. We build sets for theatre and television. Our projects include retail displays, museums and art galleries. Our team collaborates with artists, designers, and architects. Our 10,500 sq ft. facility is in South Etobicoke. Parking is available and we are a short bus ride from the Kipling subway. In addition to the carpentry + fabrication space we house a custom metal shop, a 1,300 sq’ paint space than includes a 12’ x 16’ spray booth, a CNC machine and many other specialty tools for unique projects including LED fabrication and 3D resin printing. Technical drawings are produced with Rhino and Adobe creative suite programs. Safe practice is paramount in daily operations. We are a group of focused, inventive, and inclusive builders and designers.
