NAC presents, creates, produces, and co-produces performing arts programming in various streams – the
NAC Orchestra, Dance, English Theatre, French Theatre, Indigenous Theatre, and Popular Music and
Variety – and nurtures the next generation of audiences and artists from across Canada. The NAC is located
in the National Capital Region on the unceded territory of the Anishinabe Algonquin Nation.

Key activities:
Manager, Philanthropy & Stakeholder Relations is responsible for overseeing the National Arts Centre
Foundation’s donor relations and stewardship strategies, ensuring a meaningful donor experience.
Reporting to the Director, Donor Engagement, this role provides strategic leadership in donor recognition,
impact reporting, and engagement programs.

Key activities include:
• Developing and executing a donor relations and stewardship strategy that enhances donor
retention and engagement across NAC Foundation teams.
• Overseeing donor recognition programs, naming opportunities, impact communications and
accountable for pledge fulfillment
• Managing the Foundation’s stewardship efforts for key donor groups, including Emeritus Board
members.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to establish consistent donor acknowledgment
procedures.
• Implementing donor stewardship initiatives within fundraising campaigns, including the NAC
Foundations Comprehensive $100 million dollar campaign and the Donors’ Circle.
• Strengthening a culture of philanthropy by engaging internal teams and Artistic Directors in
stewardship efforts.
• Supervising the Donor Engagement Specialist and supporting staff development.
This role is ideal for a strategic and detail-oriented professional passionate about donor relations,
engagement and philanthropy.
