Description
The Graduate Diploma in Arts Management and Master’s Degree in Arts Leadership are unique graduate programs focused exclusively on the arts and cultural sectors and designed to accommodate working professionals. We offer a rigorous online curriculum taught by professors with significant industry experience and connections. Courses emphasize integral aspects of arts management processes and leadership, including pairing each student with a cultural or arts organization through our individualized paid professional internship opportunities, or through a major research project supervised by a Queen’s professor.
ARTL students have completed paid internships at The National Arts Centre, McMichael Canadian Art Collection, The National Ballet of Canada, The Stratford Festival, The MFA (Boston), The Imperial Theatre, The Vancouver Art Gallery, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, The Shaw Festival, The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Daphne (Indigenous Art Centre), and 40+ other arts organizations.
