Reelworld was founded in 2000 by award-winning actress and producer Tonya Williams to advance opportunities for Canadians in the screen industries who are Black, Indigenous, Asian, South Asian and People of Colour by providing professional development and advocating for racial equity in Canadian content and production. Reelworld Screen Institute, a non-profit, provides training programs and presents the acclaimed Reelworld Film Festival, which celebrates stories by racialized Canadians. Partnerships and Fundraising Coordinator

Reelworld is looking for a dynamic Partnership and Fundraising Coordinator to join their small, energetic team to deliver and maintain client relationships, providing operational support to sponsors, funders and assisting the  team with various program activations, and global  support to  pipeline growth of the organization by executing sponsorship, grant and fundraising agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster good working relationships with our stakeholders
  • Ensure all partnership agreements are executed, the information disseminated to all departments and that the partners needs are met as laid out in their agreements
  • Assist with partnerships and funding proposals
  • Assist in Identifying and developing new sponsorship and advertising opportunities
  • Update partnership decks
  • Work with the Finance Manager to ensure partnership invoices are sent and payments received
  • Make sure Key Performance Indicators are tracked.
  • Collect necessary revenue data of the organization
  • Acquire in-kind support for the film festival and other Reelworld programs
  • Renew existing agreements, and prepare proposals and contracts for new partnerships
  • Prepare regular reports on sponsorship performance and timely post-event reports
  • Maintain accurate data on all leads and confirmed sponsors in Salesforce
  • All other reasonable duties as assigned and identified by the organization.
