Symphony Nova Scotia

Description

Symphony Nova Scotia is launching a $10 million Endowment Campaign to secure and strengthen the future of orchestral music in our province. We are seeking a skilled, strategic, and highly organized Campaign Manager to help drive this transformative effort. This role offers a unique opportunity for a dynamic fundraising professional to contribute to a landmark fundraising initiative that will ensure long-term artistic excellence, financial stability, and expanded community impact for generations to come.

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Campaign Manager is the staff lead for the Campaign. The role manages the day-to-day execution of the Campaign, coordinating and enabling the work of Campaign Co-Chairs, Cabinet members, Campaign Counsel, staff, and volunteers. The Campaign Manager ensures steady progress toward Campaign goals, supports donor cultivation and solicitation activities, and oversees the administrative and communications functions essential to Campaign success.

You will play a critical role in building and nurturing the Campaign’s donor pipeline, guiding prospect research, and creating tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans that draw donors closer to
the Symphony’s mission. You will also design meaningful recognition and engagement opportunities, ensuring that every supporter feels valued and connected to our long-term vision.

Behind the scenes, you will prepare briefing materials, oversee gift and pledge administration, and draft accurate agreements that honour donor intent. Partnering with Marketing & Communications, you will help craft compelling Campaign materials that elevate the Symphony’s story and inspire giving.

This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on one of Nova Scotia’s most cherished cultural institutions, shaping its future while working at the heart of a collaborative and ambitious fundraising team.

The successful candidate will be required to have reliable internet access and availability during regular work hours (9 am to 5 pm, Mon-Fri), and will work 35-hour weeks, plus evening and weekend events.

To apply, email your details to applications@symphonyns.ca

If you would like to apply, please submit your cover letter and resume to Jessica Hutton, Director of Development, at [email protected] by January 31, 2026.
