Job Description: Marketing & Sales Coordinator – Film & TV Distribution

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing & Sales Coordinator  to support our growing distribution team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the entertainment industry and demonstrate expertise in AI tools, graphic design programs, and email marketing. This role requires a blend of administrative skills, creative support, and technical knowledge, making it crucial for efficient content promotion and successful distribution campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Distribution Support – Markets and Festivals Research:

   – Research companies attending markets and festivals that the company is attending and develop a prospect list, contact those companies and help coordinate meeting schedules for the team members attending those markets.

– Prepare email marketing campaigns to support sales, and acquisitions for each market. Including developing engaging pitch packages or title presentations within each email campaign.

   – Prepare and maintain sales and licensing documentation, ensuring all content metadata and rights management database is accurate and up to date.

  1. AI Utilization:

   – Use AI-driven tools for tasks such as predictive analysis of audience engagement, graphic and video design, copy enhancment, to develop marketing collateral for new and existing film & TV series.

   – Implement AI tools to streamline content tagging, video analysis, and to gather insights for optimizing distribution strategies.

  1. Graphic Design:

   – Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing promotional materials.

   – Use graphic design software (e.g., **Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva**) to develop marketing assets, including social media graphics, newsletters, banners, and sales decks.

–  Prepare email campaigns feature media and clips for shows we are promoting

  1. Email Marketing – Markets & Educational Sales

   – Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to promote content releases and distribution announcements.

– Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to promote content releases for new tiles for Educational institutions. Use company database that is established to market specific genre titles to faculty across the company’s US

   – Manage contact databases and create segmented mailing lists to target different audiences.

  1. Content Marketing and Communication:

   – Maintain strong relationships with partners, providing them with timely and relevant promotional content.

   – Assist in crafting marketing and promotional messages, ensuring alignment with the company’s branding and distribution strategy.

 – Manage a team of ongoing influences and reviewers to support the release of new titles

  1. Market Research:

   – Conduct research to identify potential distribution partners or content opportunities.

   – Track the performance of distributed content and assist in generating sales reports.

  1. Administrative & Social Media Support:

   – Assist with scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing distribution timelines.

   – Support in organizing screenings, events, and content showcases for prospective buyers.

– Develop posts on our social media channels for upcoming releases.

Qualifications:

– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Studies, Marketing, or a related field.

– Software Skills:

  – Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  – Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).

  – Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, or other tools for video and image processing.

– Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital distribution methods and content marketing strategies.

– Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, particularly for crafting engaging promotional content.

– Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

– Experience: Prior experience in TV/film distribution, digital marketing, or a similar environment is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

– Email Analytics: Knowledge of analyzing email campaign metrics and performance.

– Creative Mindset: Ability to contribute fresh, creative ideas to marketing and distribution projects.

– Industry Awareness: Understanding of the current TV and film landscape, including streaming trends and emerging markets.
