The Rose Orchestra is Brampton’s award-winning symphony orchestra and a cultural cornerstone. Our mission is to be a multi-generational organization that brings our community together through the emotional power of live orchestral music. Our organization includes an adult orchestra, a youth orchestra and various occasional chamber ensembles. Consistent with our mission, our Board and players reflect Brampton’s rich diversity of population. We have a volunteer Board and most of our administration and operational tasks are carried out by volunteers.

We are seeking one (1) individual to join our Board of Directors to fill the following key role:
Treasurer and Finance
As Treasurer it is your responsibility to oversee the financial affairs and wellbeing of the organization while working closely with the Board to develop and monitor budget, ensure accurate financial tracking and recording is maintained, coordinate with financial institutions and the CRA as needed, and provide regular financial updates to the Board.
We are seeking two (2) individuals to join our Board of Directors to fill the following role:
Director At Large
As a Director At Large it is your responsibility to express informed opinions as input to Board decisions, to act as an ambassador for the orchestra and to undertake leadership in tasks and roles as they may fit with your own interests.
