Description

Toronto School of Art (TSA), an independent, registered charity, non-profit fine arts institution with a proud 56-year history of supporting art education, is seeking a passionate and accomplished Associate Director.

This on-site role is pivotal in driving the management and growth of TSA’s programs and operations, ensuring its continued success as a cornerstone of Toronto’s art community.

The role is currently envisioned as 4 days/week (approximately 30 hrs/week) with the potential to move to full time.

As Associate Director, you will play a vital role in TSA’s daily operations, including:

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Working with office teams, faculty, and fostering strong student relationships.
  • Program Development: Assisting with curriculum planning alongside faculty and the Faculty Steering Committee.
  • Policy & Strategy: Monitoring and developing policies, engaging in strategic planning, and implementing creative marketing initiatives.
  • Operations Management: Overseeing internal systems and providing financial oversight.
  • Marketing & Community Building: Supporting and developing marketing strategies to strengthen TSA’s community through events and outreach initiatives.
  • HR & Team Development: Promoting a positive and collaborative HR environment and providing team support as needed.
