About Urban Capers
Since 2013, Urban Capers has been transforming team-building through creative scavenger hunts that blend culture, history, and wit. Our hunts take teams through fascinating cultural institutions and vibrant city streets, uncovering hidden stories behind architecture and public art—all with our signature playful humour. After years of success across Southern Ontario, we’re ready to expand our unique experience across Canada, and we need visionary local leaders to make it happen.
The Role
This role offers something rare: the chance to grow a local business as part of a cross-Canada team of creatives. You’ll have freedom to shape our presence in your community, while benefiting from our established brand, training, and systems that have satisfied corporate clients for over a decade.

Starting part-time with the opportunity to grow to full time, your success directly drives your opportunity. The job pays $25/hour with an extensive training program that will involve travel to our locations in Toronto and Montreal.
Your Dual Role: Showrunner & Strategist
As Host Extraordinaire (Front-of-House)
- Captivate teams with your energy and quick thinking
- Transform ordinary team outings into unforgettable experiences
- Troubleshoot and problem solve issues that arise with large group events
- Maintain good relations with institutions and neighbourhoods where we work
As Business Builder (Back-of-House)
- Together with our creative team, design scavenger hunts that showcase your city’s unique character
- Develop relationships with local venues
- Identify growth opportunities that others might miss
- Take care of the business administration of events: booking hosts, budgeting, reporting

- Building a roster of clients who return and refer
- Creating distinctly local experiences
- Developing a network of local partnerships
- Growing your hours and income as you expand our presence

Essential Skills:- Fluency in English and French for Ottawa and Montreal locations
