Position Summary
The Director of Global Artist Marketing is responsible for leading and developing global marketing strategies for the Wax roster of Artists, its affiliate labels and Joint Venture partners, driving growth and success for our artists across all markets. This role requires a deep understanding of the global music landscape, strong relationship building and leadership skills , and the ability to navigate the complexities of international markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global artist marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives and artist development goals.
- Oversee all aspects of global artist marketing, advertising, social media marketing, public relations, radio promotion, promotional initiatives and brand partnerships.
- Lead a team of regional marketing specialists, PR teams, social media marketing, radio promotion, ad agencies etc.
- Collaborate with our international distribution partners.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and trends in international markets.
- Develop and manage global artist marketing budgets.
- Represent the company at international music industry events and conferences.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in global music marketing and technology.

Qualifications and Experience
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in artist marketing, with a strong emphasis on international markets.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing high-impact global marketing campaigns that have driven artist success.
- Experience leading and managing third party marketing teams in a global environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with international partners.
- Innovative and “out of the box” problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding and application of a data-driven approach to music marketing
- Deep understanding of the global music landscape, including cultural nuances and market trends.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Proficiency in multiple languages Bachelor’s Degree in music business, business administration, or marketing
