Busy custom framing company looking for experienced woodworker

Company profile:

The Gilder has been providing a top quality custom framing service to artists, collectors, art galleries and museums in Canada for over 25 years. We specialize in producing hardwood frames in variety of finishes, stained, painted and water gilded, and are experienced in conservation framing.

We are looking for a talented individual interested in art and in framing. 
Experience in working with solid wood. Proficient with table saw, shaper, joiner/thicknesser, router and other basic tools. 
Tasks unclude cutting and joining frames, milling custom mouldings, selecting appropriate grade of lumber, sanding. 

This is a full-time position but part time will also be considered. 


-Attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, problem solving skills. 
-Ability to work independently with good organizational skill, as well as part of a small team
-Help to maintain a clean shop environment
-Good knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade
